Friday 17 March 2006 QS, an international organization is organizing an inspiring and informative event for students, recent graduates and early career movers.
Recruiters from companies including DSM, Capgemini, Rabobank, L’Oréal, Shell and Ministerie van Buitenlandse Zaken will be present to meet you at their stands or to present their companies and opportunities to you in a presentation.

Talent Development and Life Coaching Workshops are given by Inge van den Broek of Paluka: learn how you can use your talents to become succesful in your career! Inge van den Broek used to play for the Dutch National Hockey Team. Jospehine Quartel of Beeline, famous for her appearance in Terra Incognita as shown on NET5, will share her experiences and how you can use this in your career!

Listen to the panel debate speakers who will discuss the various issues around the importance developing women into management and leadership positions, learn from them and be inspired by them. Representatives from Rabobank, Capgemini, DSM and Shell will be on the panel.

Good to see these initiatives to inspire women to become the leaders of the next century. QS is in Amsterdam, London, Munich, Moscow and Paris.

Are you happy or are you stuck?

Jeoff Haskins, who is an inspiring and great guy, told me this story:
I remember the story of the lion who get’s taken out of the wild and shoved into the cage at a zoo. It’s environment is totally changed and it loses, over time, it spirit and freedom and becomes very sluggish and sad. Most people think it has become tame but all it really has become is trapped.

Are you trapped? Are you conditioned by your environment (your family, your job, your friends). I am sure this is one of the hardest part to work on. Especially after you feel you are stuck and want to get a new life. Many people have a hard time to get out of a part of their life, that seems sucking energy from their very vital parts: their mind and emotions.

I hope someone will be there for you when you want to change from your trapped situation to your free life. Feel your spirit and use it to reach your goals in life. If you feel I can help you, I want to help you. There are so many people alone in this world; not supported at moments when change in their life is the best thing that can happen to them. Make your future a happy place and a free place and please don’t wait until you are 65. Waiting is bad for your spirit. Action is enlightning.

Ultimate freedom

Government nowadays is only focused on the negative sides of the society. What is not good will be punished, taxed, etc.

I would like to see the government (anywhere in the world) focusing more on talents, qualities and facilitating growth of these qualities.

Did you listen to debates in government, do you read the news? It is all about negative attention, and the only thing that makes our economy flow and flourish is having fun, working hard and give to people who do good.
