Thomas Power suggested me to search on my name in Google.
Searching Marieke Hensel gave me much comfort as there aren’t many sharing my name in the world (I guess it is only me). So my name showed up 1-6 on Google.

So if people are looking me up with Google, that’s okay. And the links (with articles) are fine too. They give a good impression of who I am and what I do.

Now I have just searched on -Marieke-, but there I turn up at 352! Waaahhhh… Okay, I guess I wouldn’t show up many times, but well, I have to do more on my personal branding.

That’s also my reason to start this weblog. To make my world online happen. This will be a livetime work, -no rush-, but I hope to feed this weblog regularly with my stories, friends and links.

By the way, in the year I was born (1979) Marieke was the most popular baby name. Sooo… I have some competition.
